F3P
The F3P is a retail fuel price protection program benefiting retailers and their customers. Retailers capture higher fuel margins and sales, while customers receive retail gasoline or diesel fuel price protection for less than 5 ¢/g. There is no other program like the F3P, yet the F3P-like transactions are common in wholesale markets. An F3P may be implemented by virtually any retailer in the country. It may even be incorportated into existing loyalty programs as an added benefit to membership.
